Get Well Soon, Prime Minister

I was not at all surprised to hear about your illness. If it had not been dengue, I am convinced that it would have been something else. Some days ago, just from viewing recent photos, I made the comment to a friend that you appeared to be under the weather. I put it down to stress. Stress - an occupational hazard under the best of circumstances but heightened for you by the extraordinary burdens of your office and the rough waters that our country must join the entire world in navigating.

Sister, take all the time you need to slow down and recover. Rest and sleep and breathe deeply and reconnect only with the best and the sincerest of your hopes for yourself and this nation.

Get well soon, Prime Minister. We have to get there together.

"Patria est communis omnium parens" - Our native land is the common parent of us all. Keep it beautiful, make it even more so.

Blessed is all of creation
Blessed be my beautiful people
Blessed be the day of our awakening
Blessed is my country
Blessed are her patient hills.
