Your Welcome. Keep up the good work also.
Child abuse must become a thing of the past for Trinidad and Tobago. It's very disturbing and disheartening to learn about these stories.

Children are our future, and our responsibility. Our people need to be more aware and together, if we are to eradicate these occurrences forever.

What was the problem you were facing in posting a comment on our site?

Thanks TnT River,
Some years ago I had the good fortune to be guided to the work of Alice Miller and since then I see our experience of childhood, not as something that we "look back on" but as something that exists within us and something that IS our future. Se brought it home so clearly to me that distinctions between past and future are artificial. We cannot control or rewrite an injurious past but we can try to mitigate the repercussions and work towards avoiding a repetition of the mistakes as we nurture our children - our future, as you said.

About the comment form, I kept getting the message that there was an error with my submission and so I eventually left a message for you on my blog. I am happy that you have finally received it and I thank you again for your thoughtful presence and voice.
