You are up late like me...or should I say e...Louis,
You are up late like me...or should I say early.

I have to confess that I am also one of those who avoid viewing the earth from airplanes. I hate flying and I only look out if I am sitting next to the wing and then only to check if the wing is still attached and functioning. As far as I am concerned, the gods can keep that "enjoyment". I think that if you are not a winged creature, flying is an abomination. Seriously.

I read your beautiful post and the thoughtful comments of friends and family but just didn't have any words to add. It must be the Trini in me but I found great solace in the humour in that self-deprecating line towards the end.

"Sometimes I was included in that contentment, but not as often as you guys."

It made me laugh through the sadness and Elena's smiling face convinced me that she would have also laughed out loud.

So glad to have you here, Louis.
BlessingsGuanaguanarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16633889363662650322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22112793.post-20395503256422981892011-01-28T02:34:55.595-05:002011-01-28T02:34:55.595-05:00Sometimes I have wondered why there are still wind...Sometimes I have wondered why there are still windows on airplanes at all. Nobody seems to look of them, jaded. Immune to the thought that theirs would be a perspective of the earth and sky only the gods used to enjoy.louishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02724442924909561263noreply@blogger.com
