BLESSING AFTER BLESSING
By Positive

Woy! Pour a blessing over me, yey-yey-yey!
Keep it flowing, flowing, flowing
Just keep it flowing, flowing, flowing
Blessing after blessing and nothing cyah hold it back
What is for me, oh yes, it will be
Me nah go make dem steal my joy, steal my joy, steal my joy
A blessing for you and a blessing for me
Blessing after blessing and nothing cyah hold it back
What is for me, oh yes, it will be
Me nah go make dem steal my joy, steal my joy, steal my joy
A blessing for you and a blessing for me.

'Cause Him promise to provide [blessing it]
Everything my heart desires [blessing it]
As long as my delight is in the Lord
So I'll bless His holy name
'Cause His promises remain forever and ever
Doh make nobody trick you
Blessings flowing over here like a fountain
Doh make nobody trick you, no!

Hands up to the sky eye-eye-eye-eye as the Father pours
Blessing after blessing and nothing cyah hold it back
What is for me, oh yes, it will be
Me nah go make dem steal my joy, steal my joy, steal my joy
A blessing for you and a blessing for me
Blessing after blessing and nothing cyah hold it back
What is for me, oh yes, it will be
Me nah go make dem steal my joy, steal my joy, steal my joy
A blessing for you and a blessing for me.

Everywhere I look is blessing, favour all over me
All because I put my Jesus in front of everything
Drink it up, drink it up
Come the river of living water, drink it up, drink it up
Nah go thirst again, [no]
This will never stop flow from my Father
And my vessel will be full to the sky
It is like an overflow in here, [overflow in here] oh-oh-oh
It's blessing in abundance!

A blessing for you and a blessing for me
Blessing after blessing [blessing after blessing]
Blessing after blessing
Blessing after blessing
Blessing after blessing
Blessing after blessing
Only the anointed [blessing after blessing]
Flowing from my head down to my feet [blessing after blessing]
Feel the Spirit move [blessing after blessing]
It's the blessing of the Lord
Blessing after blessing and nothing cyah hold it back
What is for me, oh yes, it will be
Me nah go make dem steal my joy, steal my joy, steal my joy
A blessing for you and a blessing for me
Blessing after blessing and nothing cyah hold it back
What is for me, oh yes, it will be
Me nah go make dem steal my joy, steal my joy, steal my joy
A blessing for you and a blessing for me

Rain down [Song]

RAIN DOWN
By Shane ‘Rizon’ Gibson

[Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain]
[Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain]

This is my prayer for the nation - Father, let Your love come pouring down.

[Father, rain down, rain down on my home]
[Rain down on mih land and rain down on me.]
Shower!
[Father, rain down, rain down on my home]
[Rain down on mih land] Rain down [and rain down on me.]

Things get so sticky, sticky [Rain] on this little, bitty [Rain] island
That was so peaceful and blessed
And now the same things [Rain] I see on TV [Rain] down in the Gaza
Happening ah mih yard.

Woh, I know
[Things will, things will get better, I know]
[Things will, things will get better, I know]
[Things will, things will get better, I know]
Things will, things will get better.

[Father, rain down, rain down on my home] Rain down
[Rain down on mih land] Rain down [and rain down on me.]
Send the showers of blessings!
[Father, rain down, rain down on my home] Rain down
[Rain down on mih land] Rain down [and rain down on me.]

[Wash away] Hatred and lies
[Wash away] Violence and crime
[Wash away] Negative vibes
[Father, rain, rain, rain.]
[Wash away] The endless fighting
[Wash away] The parasites them
[Wash away] The tears we cry
[Father, rain, rain, rain.]

When Jah Jah looks upon you, gunman, He not pleased
There will be consequences, brother, take it easy
Put down the gun now, doh wait for later
It might be too late to go down on your knees.

Woh, I know
[Things will, things will get better, I know]
[Things will, things will get better, I know]
[Things will, things will get better, I know]
Things will, things will get better.

[Father, rain down, rain down on my home] Rain down
[Rain down on mih land] Rain down [and rain down on me.]
Send the showers of blessings!
[Father, rain down, rain down on my home] Rain down
[Rain down on mih land] Rain down [and rain down on me.]

[Wash away] Hatred and lies
[Wash away] Violence and crime
[Wash away] Negative vibes
[Father, rain, rain, rain.]
[Wash away] The endless fighting
[Wash away] The parasites them
[Wash away] The tears we cry
[Father, rain, rain, rain.]

Rain showers of blessings down on my homeland
Make it safe to live again
Father, send down the rain.

[Father, rain down, rain down on my home]
[Rain down on mih land and rain down on me.]
Shower!
[Father, rain down, rain down on my home] Rain down
[Rain down on mih land and rain down on me]
Send the showers of blessings!
[Father, rain down, rain down on my home] Rain down
[Rain down on mih land] Rain down [and rain down on me.]
Shower!
[Father, rain down] Rain down [rain down on my home] Rain down
[Rain down on mih land] Rain down [and rain down on me.]  Rain down, Rain down!

Bring Down The Power [Song]

BRING DOWN THE POWER
By Ella Andall

Bring down the power of love I say. Bring down the power!
The power of love, I say, is the greatest power!
Stop hell and damnation. Bring down the power!
Love to heal a nation is the greatest power!

A wind of destruction is blowing over this land [Over this land]
And now the earth is a-trembling with man's oppression of man. [Bring down the power!]
Now the time come to sit down and rediscover what's life. [What is life]
Show the world the true meaning of real love power, not strife. [Bring down the power!]

Bring down the power of love I say [Bring down the power!]
The power of love, I say, is the greatest power.
Stop hell and damnation [Bring down the power!]
Love to heal a nation. [Is the greatest power!]

Put a hand, fan the fire and cleanse the wicked right now. [Right now]
All of them who does worship greed and vanity, must bow. [Bring down the power!]
Unity is the banner, so come together, I say, [I say]
And this love is for freedom, it growing stronger each day. [Bring down the power!]

Bring down the power of love, I say, [Bring down the power!]
The power of love, I say, is the greatest power.
Stop hell and damnation, [Bring down the power!]
Love to heal a nation. [Is the greatest power!]

So rejoice in a rhythm of celebration, come on [Come on!]
Lift your voice with a feeling of satisfaction as one [Bring down the power!]
And let we move with a purpose, all freedom-lovers hold tight [Hold tight!]
Stepping out of the darkness with one direction in sight [Bring down the power!]

Bring down the power of love, I say [Bring down the power!]
The power of love, I say, is the greatest power
Stop hell and damnation [Bring down the power!]
Love to heal a nation [Is the greatest power]
[Bring down the power!]
Bring down the power of love, I say [Bring down the power!]
The power of love I say [Bring down the power!]
Stop hell and damnation. [Bring down the power!]

God Bless Our Nation [Song]

Uploaded by akeemds

GOD BLESS OUR NATION
Composed by Marjorie Padmore
Performed by Mavis John

God bless our nation
Of many varied races
May we possess that common love
That binds and makes us one.
Let it be known around the world
That we can boast of unity
And take a pride in our liberty.

God bless our isles
Of tropic beauty rare
Of flaming poinciana and shady immortelle
The warm and sparkling waters
That break upon our shores
Beat out a tune that seem to tell
We take a pride in our liberty.

God bless our leaders
Give them grace to guide
Bestow on them thy judgment wise
To rule our land aright
To keep the flag of freedom high
That we may sing most lustily
We take a pride in our liberty.

A Note From The Gull

Some of us feel that these are some of the darkest hours in the history of Trinidad and Tobago and somehow a song like this seems out of place. I actually sing this song quite frequently to myself. On one level I am singing it just because I think it’s a really beautiful song and I enjoy visiting the scenes conjured up by the words, especially the natural beauty of Trinidad and Tobago. On another level I sing it because I love this country and as far as I know this song, apart from the National Anthem, is probably the only sung prayer for Trinidad and Tobago. On yet another level, I believe that to be a powerful force for good, it is necessary to bless others so that we all will prosper.

Scientific research has proven that physiological balance and strength in the human body even at the level of blood cells as well as in plants, fungi, bacteria and animals, are brought about by positive thoughts and emotions. Even if you aren’t motivated by a desire to do good for others, the theory of the common field of energy encourages us to project positive emotions and thoughts because essentially we curse ourselves when we curse others. When we show gratitude and we bless, even when this blessing is not vocalized, we set in motion powerful, positive vibrations which will deliver beneficial outcomes for both givers and receivers.

So this song is a prayer for our country. It asks for blessings for the well being of our beautiful natural environment, for our nation and the souls who are its residents and for the leaders. We are really in need of showers of blessings. God bless Marjorie Padmore. God bless Mavis John. God bless you all. God bless our nation.
