Glorious Saturday Meditation [Song]

Uploaded by Psallos Music

GLORY TO COME
By Psallos

The world is fraught with pain,
Sin has left a grievous stain.
Will we ever see relief?
Is there hope in suffering?

Creation groans
With the sons of flesh and bone,
Lord, redeem us from this curse,
Our corruption please reverse.”

Hold fast,
A day will dawn when glory will be shown
Far outweighing pain and woe.
We await that glorious day
When full redemption comes
With the rising of the risen Son.

We hope in the Unseen,
Waiting for Him patiently,
Who will help us while we pray,
When we don’t know what to say?

The Spirit groans
For the sons the Father knows,
Intercedes when we are weak,
Gives us hope in suffering.

Hold fast,
A day will dawn when glory will be shown
Far outweighing pain and woe.
We await that glorious day
When full redemption comes
With the rising of the risen Son.

28 And we know that for all those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those who He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, in order that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom He predestined He also called; and those whom He called He also justified; and those whom He justified, He also glorified.
--- Romans 8:28-30

The Lord conforms us to His Son,
For everyone He’s called He works good in all.
Foreknown, predestined, called in Christ
And also justified

And those He justifies,
He also glorifies.

Yes, if we suffer with Christ,
We will also be glorified.

TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS
By Salt of the Sound

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of the earth
Will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
In the light of His glory and grace.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of the earth
Will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
In the light of His glory and grace.

And the things of the earth
Will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
In the light of His glory and grace.

LAMB OF GOD
Performed by Sounds Like Reign

Your only Son no sin to hide
But You have sent Him from Your side
To walk upon this guilty sod
And to become the Lamb of God.

Your gift of love they crucified
They mocked and scorned Him as he died
The humble King, they named a fraud
And sacrificed the Lamb of God.

Oh, Lamb of God, Sweet Lamb of God
I love the Holy Lamb of God
Oh, wash me in Your precious Blood
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

I was so lost I should have died
But You have brought me to Your side
To be led by Your staff and rod
And to become a lamb of God.

Oh, Lamb of God, Sweet Lamb of God
I love the Holy Lamb of God
Oh, wash me in Your precious Blood
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

Oh, Lamb of God, Sweet Lamb of God
I love the Holy Lamb of God
Oh, wash me in Your precious Blood
My Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

Glorious Saturday Night Meditation: Silence [Song]

Uploaded by MaeCeleste

SILENCE

By Lizz Wright

Have you heard the silent night
The earth is always singing
Praises of the morning sun
Even before morning.
And the whole world is singing of
It’s beauty all day long
And even the quiet dark
That silence is a song.

Weep not for the day of gray
For the heavens are not weeping
The roses are still red and gay
They are even blooming
And the whole world is singing of
It’s beauty all day long
And even the quiet dark
That silence is a song
That silence is a song.

A Note From The Gull

.... a resurrection song.

Thank you, Lizz Wright.

"Patria est communis omnium parens" - Our native land is the common parent of us all. Keep it beautiful, make it even more so.

Blessed is all of creation
Blessed be my beautiful people
Blessed be the day of our awakening
Blessed is my country
Blessed are her patient hills.

Mweh ka allay!

Glorious Saturday Meditation: Creation Song [Song]

CREATION SONG
By Josh Garrels

We can hear creation groan
It's crying out for God
Every night when stars come out, I hear creation's song
And it sings, "Oh, Lord!"
And we sing, "Oh, Lord!"
"You are light and You are love.
You are flesh and You are blood
."

Peace will come to those who love
Peace will come to those who love
Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah.

We can hear creation groan
It's crying out for God
Every night when stars come out, I hear creation's song
And it sings, "Oh, Lord!"
And we sing, "Oh, Lord!"
"You are light and You are love.
You are flesh and You are blood
."

Peace will come to those who love
Peace will come to those who love
Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah,
Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah.

Glorious Saturday Meditation II: Redemption Day [Song]

Uploaded by TheBlankBullets6

REDEMPTION DAY
Performed by Johnny Cash

I've wept for those who suffer long
But how I weep for those who've gone
In rooms of grief and questioned wrong
But keep on killing.

It's in the soul to feel such things
But weak to watch without speaking
Oh, what mercy sadness brings
If God be willing.

There is a train that's heading straight
To Heaven's gate, to Heaven's gate
And on the way, child and man,
And woman wait, watch and wait
For Redemption Day.

Fire rages in the streets
And swallows everything it meets
It's just an image often seen on television
Come leaders, come ye men of great
Let us hear you pontificate
Your many virtues laid to waste
And we aren't listening.

There is a train that's heading straight
To Heaven's gate, to Heaven's gate
And on the way, child and man,
And woman wait, watch and wait
For Redemption Day.

What do you have for us today?
Throw us a bone but save the plate
Oh why we waited 'til so late
Was there no oil to excavate
No riches in trade for the fate
Of every person who died in hate
Throw us a bone, you men of great.

There is a train that's heading straight
To Heaven's gate, to Heaven's gate
And on the way, child and man,
And woman wait, watch and wait
For Redemption Day.

It's buried in the countryside
Exploding in the shells at night
It's everywhere a baby cries
Freedom!
Freedom!
Freedom!

Glorious Saturday Meditation I: Here In Between [Song]

HERE IN BETWEEN
Sung by Brian Moss
Composed by Brian Moss

Here in between the death and life
Of broken God and risen Christ
We watch and wait, we kneel and pray
For hope to breathe at break of day
The temple torn by sacrifice
How can this be the way?

The Son of God nailed to a tree
This is not how we thought it'd be
Your condemnation makes no sense
An act of hate and violence
We broke the bread, we spilled the wine
How can this be the way?

Within this day of Sabbath rest-
A gift to those whom You have blessed-
Your peace transforms our hearts content
In this already and not yet
In stillness beats the drum of life
How can this be the way?

Your never-ending sovereignty
Still flickers with eternity
It brightens fading eventide
The gospel hums of mercy wide
Oh Lord of Life, open Your eyes
You are the only
You are the only
You are the only way.
